Tessa Hadley

Born in Bristol, Tessa Hadley is a critically acclaimed novelist and writer who is best known for her forensically close observations of modern family life. A lecturer in literature and creative writing, she is a specialist on the works of Henry James. Hadley published her first novel, Accidents in the Family Home, when she was 46 and her other fictional works include the novels Everything Will Be All Right, The Master Bedroom, The London Train, Clever Girl, The Past and Late in the Day as well as the short story collection Bad Dreams and Other Stories.
