A Canadian-British writer, Rachel Cusk’s first novel, Saving Agnes, was highly acclaimed, winning the Whitbread First Novel Award and she was named as one of Granta’s ‘Best Young British Novelists’ in 2003. Her writing – both fiction and non-fiction – often draws explicitly on her own life, most notably in A Life’s Work: On Becoming a Mother and her memoirs The Last Supper and her blistering work of the aftershock of life post-divorce, Aftermath. Her most recent works include the novel Arlington Park and the celebrated fictional trilogy Outline, Transit and Kudos.
The author of the seminal Outline trilogy delivers a tour de force of imagination and insight, as an artist known as G is followed through a multitude of lives and encounters.
