Nadiya Hussain
After winning the sixth Great British Bake Off in 2015, she launched her television career by hosting the documentary The Chronicles of Nadiya (2016), followed by several successful BBC cookery series. She is Contributing Editor to BBC's Good Food and writes a regular column for the Times Magazine.
Nadiya Hussain has written several bestselling cookbooks, including Nadiya's Kitchen (2016), Nadiya’s Family Favourites (2018) and Time to Eat (2019). She has enchanted younger readers with her food-filled fairytales in her Bake Me a Story books. Her 2020 children’s book My Monster and Me (2020) tackles childhood anxiety.
Hussain has also written three novels, in collaboration with author Avisha Malik. The first one, The Secret Lives of the Amir Sisters came out in 2017, followed by The Fall and Rise of the Amir Sisters (2019) and The Hopes and Triumphs of the Amir Sisters (2020). She published her memoir Finding My Voice in 2019 and was awarded an MBE for her contributions to broadcasting and the culinary arts the following year.
