Lesley Pearse is a British writer of romantic and family sagas, set both in the present day and the early twentieth century. Pearse came comparatively late to literary fame, having worked in a number of jobs before being inspired to take up her pen in her mid-30s. She was first published at the age of 48 with Georgia. Pearse’s works include the Belle series, set before and during the First World War, and The Woman in the Wood. Her most recent book is You’ll Never See Me Again.
