Kathy Reichs
One of only 100 forensic anthropologists ever certified by the American Board of Forensic Anthropology and leading light in crime fiction, American novelist Kathy Reichs came to public attention when her first novel, Déjà Dead, became a New York Times bestseller. The book became the first in a popular series following fictional forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan – the character also makes an appearance in Jasper Fforde's 2007 novel First Among Sequels. The novels formed the inspiration for the successful Fox TV series Bones which Reichs was a producer on.
More recently Kathy Reichs has collaborated with her son Brendan on the Virals series, which is a spin-off from her original novels focusing on Temperance Brennan’s great-neice.
Piling twist upon twist, this gripping addition to Reichs' Temperance Brennan series sees a trail of macabre discoveries lead the forensic anthropologist to her most personally harrowing case yet.
