Kathy Reichs

The creator of Temperance Brennan and the hit US TV show, Bones

Kathy Reichs biography and information

Born Kathleen Joan Toelle Reichs in Chicago, Illinois 1950. Forensic anthropologist, Professor, and crime author. Although forensic students may know her as the author of textbooks such as Forensic Osteology, it's much more likely that people will be familiar with the Temperance Brennan series - either the novels or its TV adaptation, Bones .

Temperance "Tempe" Brennan is a forensic anthropologist just like her creator - Reichs has said in the past that, as well as her C.V, many elements of Tempe's personality are shared with the author - although not the alcoholism. The novels are remarkable for their fastidiousness and attention to detail.
