Julia Golding

An acclaimed British children’s writer, Julia Golding received widespread praise for her debut novel The Diamond of Drury Lane which won the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize, the Nestlé Children's Book Prize and was shortlisted for the Costa Children's Book Award. The book became the first in the popular Cat Royal series, other books in the sequence are: Cat Among the Pigeons, Den of Thieves, Cat o' Nine Tails, Black Heart of Jamaica and Cat's Cradle.

Julia Golding is also the author of The Ship Between the Worlds, Wolf Cry, The Silver Sea and Mel Foster and the Demon Butler as well as the Companions series, the Darcie Lock Girl on the Run series and the adventure novels Knights of the Round Table. She also writes books for teenagers and young adults under the pseudonyms Eve Edwards and Joss Stirling.
