A highly acclaimed American novelist Jonathan Franzen is best-known for his novel The Corrections - a masterpiece of social observation and twentieth-century family dynamics. The novel won the 2001 National Book Award for Fiction and the 2002 James Tait Black Memorial Prize for fiction and was a finalist for the 2002 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. Franzen’s other works include: Purity, How to Be Alone, Strong Motion and The End of the End of the Earth.
