Joe Wicks
Joe Wicks, also knowns as The Body Coach, is a British fitness instructor, presenter and author. Wicks was born in Epsom and studied sports science at St Mary’s University, Twickenham. After finishing his degree, he worked as a teaching assistant before becoming a personal trainer. In 2014, Wicks began to gain a following for his fitness and nutrition related content on social media and launched his website called The Body Coach for marketing a range of fitness and nutrition plans.
Wicks published his first book Lean in 15: The Shift Plan in 2015, and it became an instant bestseller. It was followed by a further four in the series, including Veggie Lean in 15 (2018). Wean in 15, published in May 2020, focuses on introducing babies to solid food whilst the 30-Day Kick Start Plan is an accessible fitness guide for all.
