Frann Preston-Gannon

A British author and illustrator, Frann Preston-Gannon’s first solo work, The Journey Home, was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize in 2013. In 2011, Preston-Gannon became the first UK recipient of the ‘Sendak Fellowship’ and spent a month living with and learning from Maurice Sendak. Her book, I Am the Seed That Grew the Tree: A Nature Poem For Every Day Of The Year, a lavishly illustrated collection of 366 nature poems, was the Waterstones Children's Gift of the Year 2018.
