Dolly Alderton is an award-winning journalist, broadcaster and author.
Alderton started her career in TV as a story producer for the Channel 4 show Made In Chelsea, after which she worked in various roles in reality, comedy and entertainment development. Alderton subsequently became a freelance journalist, and her work has appeared in Marie Claire, Glamour, and Cosmopolitan, amongst others and she is now a columnist for the Sunday Times Style. Since 2017, Alderton has co-created and co-hosted a weekly current affairs and pop culture podcast called The High Low together with Pandora Sykes.
In 2018, Alderton published her debut, Everything I Know About Love, which became an instant bestseller and earned her the 2018 National Book Award for Autobiography of the Year. Her first novel, Ghosts, was published in October 2020.
Already a millennial icon thanks to her Waterstones Books of the Year-shortlisted memoir Everything I Know About Love, Dolly Alderton turns her scalpel-sharp pen to fiction, with this witty, tender and big-hearted debut. Outwardly successful, Nina Dean’s life is beginning to unravel and she has no idea how to gather the threads together again.
