Ant Middleton

Ant Middleton was born in Portsmouth and grew up in France. He joined the army at the age of seventeen and later the Royal Marines, serving several tours in Afghanistan as a member of the Special Boat Service. After his time in the military, Middleton worked in security and in 2015 rocketed to television fame as the Chief Instructor on the Channel 4 television series SAS: Who Dares Wins. His eponymous first book – co-authored with Jason Fox, Ollie Ollerton and Colin Maclachlan – came out in 2017. Middleton’s autobiography, First Man In, was published in 2018, followed by The Fear Bubble (2019) and Zero Negativity (2020) which together form The Mindset Trilogy.

In 2021, Middleton published Mental Fitness and his first work of fiction, Cold Justice – a thriller that follows an ex-elite soldier facing new, chilling challenges in his life outside the military.
