Ant Middleton was born in Portsmouth and grew up in France. He joined the army at the age of seventeen and later the Royal Marines, serving several tours in Afghanistan as a member of the Special Boat Service. After his time in the military, Middleton worked in security and in 2015 rocketed to television fame as the Chief Instructor on the Channel 4 television series SAS: Who Dares Wins.
