Born in Stoke-on Trent, Angela Harding studied Fine Art Printmaking and painting at Leicester Polytechnic and went onto complete an MA in Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University. Drawing inspiration from British flora and fauna, she lives and works in Rutland, where her studio overlooks farmland landscape.
Known and loved for her evocative illustrations, Harding published her first book A Year Unfolding: A Printmaker’s View in 2021. It was followed by Wild Light in 2022, and Still Waters & Wild Waves in 2024. She has illustrated the beautiful children's adaptation of Isabella Tree's modern classic Wilding (2024), Poet Laureate Simon Armitage’s Blossomise (2024) and RSPB Birds (2020) written by Miranda Krestovnikoff, as well as creating cover art for various books, including Raynor Winn’s bestselling memoirs The Salt Path, The Wild Silence and Landlines.
