Published to celebrate the opening of the Berlin wall, this photographic essay chronicles the spirit of the two Berlins over the last decade and features images from the smashing of the wall. Drawn to Berlin some ten years ago, Duroy aims to capture its atmosphere by delving beneath its surface. Berliners of all ages, cityscapes, graffiti, political and military presence and smoke-filled cafes are a few of the images in the photographer's portrait of this historic German city.
