INSIGHT.xla: Business Analysis Software for Microsoft Excel

Synopsis

This suite of software add-ins for quantitative analysis, along with its accompanying tutorial documentation, makes it possible to do Monte Carlo simulations, decision trees, queuing simulations, Markov chains, and forecasting with Microsoft Excel. The Insight add-ins have been developed over a number of years by the author, who has come to be recognized as an innovator in management-science education, both through his seminars to industry worldwide and through the spreadsheet course he teaches at Stanford University. Each add-in contains numerical and graphical capabilities. The manual that accompanies this software contains installation instructions, complete software documentation, tutorials explaining how these add-ins can be used with realistic business applications, and exercises.
