Synopsis

Once again demonstrating the 'luxuriantly sensual imagination' ("Washington Post") last seen in her "Cornucopia" (978 0 393 32549 2), Molly Peacock celebrates marriage and a two-track life with the man who became her husband. As teenage sweethearts separated by other obligations, they found each other again at midlife. Unafraid as always to look hard at the flaws in human relationships, Peacock embarks on what "The New Republic" has called a 'bold exploration of terrain traditionally considered taboo'.
