Synopsis

This is a reissue of a book first published in 1965. When Babar and his family first travelled to the U.S. it was in 1965. Among the places they visited were NYC, San Francisco, Chicago, New Orleans, the suburbs, Death Valley, the forests and many others.Today children can look at the book, and see things and places that no longer exist - such as flying on Pan Am (and the Pan Am building is featured), people dressed in 60s fashions and the skyline of New York City that is missing the World Trade Centre.
