in the UK
This text presents a national-level systematic picture of the lives of asylum seekers who have been accepted as refugees or given exceptional leave to remain in Britain, and their dependents. Research was carried out by Research and Planning Unit staff in collaboration with the University of Salford, on behalf of the Voluntary Services Unit within the Home Office, which oversees arrangements for the resettlement of refugees.
