Synopsis

An interactive CD-ROM which provides coverage of the Olympics past and present, with desktop access to a multimedia presentation of statistics, biographies, history and action highlights. The CD-ROM has audio and video interviews with Olympic champions, a 30-minute video of Olympic highlights, computer animations of sports techniques, judging and scoring criteria, virtual 3-D views of the Atlanta sports venues, national anthems of participating nations, a complete schedule of events for each sport, trivia quizzes, glossaries of terms, and a profile of Atlanta, Georgia, the city which is host for the 1996 Summer Games. This CD-ROM updates results and records the same day the event happens, and will also provide previews and online ordering of officially-licensed Olympic products, videos, programmes, and memorabilia.
