Synopsis

The Ohio Light Opera at the College of Wooster is the only professional repertory company in the United States devoted exclusively to the performance of late 19th- and early 20th-century operetta. In addition to Gilbert and Sullivan, they perform many classics of the European and American operetta repertoire. All are performed in English, with many of the foreign-language works specially translated for the Ohio Light Opera. This book is a personal memoir as well as a history.
