Synopsis

It is the 1970s, and henpecked family man Tom Ripple is happy to wryly watch the world from his perfectly ordinary life, in a perfectly ordinary suburb. But, when his marriage fails and his family falls apart in the 1980s, self-deluded Tom must find a way of carrying on against an unexpected tide of change.
