Synopsis
The Link Foundation (established in 1953 to honour and memorialize Edwin A. Link) awards yearly fellowships for advanced research into the mastery of the sea and air, and the development of energy resources and their conservation. Link Fellows are students accepted on a PhD course at their own institutions, and are chosen by an independent review committee in a national competition. This volume represents papers by six Link Fellows concerning energy and energy-related fields. These pieces of research aim to make stimulating reading, as well as being a formal record of the work carried out on the programme.
