UK Kirkus review
The boys in a class of no-hopers take part in a science project in which each must look after a bag of flour as if it were a real baby. They can't leave it unattended and it musn't gain or lose weight. Simon becomes particularly attached to his flour baby and learns much about the responsibilities of parenthood. Hilarious episodes are balanced by some very touching moments. (8-11 yrs) (Kirkus UK)
