Synopsis
Twopenny Rainbows continues the story of the Michaels sisters begun in A Pennyworth of Sunshine. In 1863 Irish orphans Ismay and Mara are sent to Australia by the Catholic authorities against their will. Worse, on arrival they're separated when Ismay is forced to take a job as a maid miles away in the country. Lonely and desperate to be reunited, they both run away. Meanwhile, their elder sister Keara arrives in Melbourne to find the trail cold. With danger threatening on all sides will they ever find each other again?
