Synopsis

The activities and resources in this pack are designed to encourage children to appreciate the variety of colours and sights that surround them everyday. From butterflies and traffic lights to rainbows and camouflaged animals, there are indoor and outdoor activities that are geared to open children's eyes to colours, textures, shapes, patterns and more. As they record and communicate their observations, they should enhance many of the key early learning skills from personal, social and emotional development to physical and creative development. The pack should be useful to both specialist and non-specialist practitioners working with children aged three- to five-years-of-age. It contains over 50 activities, and there is a CD of poems, songs and stories, along with a giant themed display poster, 8 colour photocards and 14 photocopiable activity sheets."
