Four Years in Tibet

Synopsis

Rev. Ahmed Shah journeyed in Kashmir and Ladakh, also known as lower tibet, for four years: from 1890 - 1894. Making his way to Leh from Srinagar, via the Zoji La and Kargil. An interesting part of this book is his observations on the claim of the Russian traveler who claimed that he saw references of Jesus Christ in these parts. He gives brief accounts of the history, country side, Government and customs and manner of the inhabitants.
