Waterstone's book clubs

Welcome to our book clubs page. Here you can find out information on all of the Waterstone's book clubs. For those who are more keen to participate in discussion, we have Editor's Choice; for the little ones in your life we now have a Picture Book Club, and finally, the Book Circle, a brand new book club that kicks off this February. We also have book clubs and reading groups taking place all over the UK at our Waterstone's stores.

The Editor's Choice book club, run by Waterstones.com Fiction editor, Greg Eden, will be bringing you a series of live web chats with high-profile authors, throughout 2009. Already this year we've had Marian Keyes and Jodi Picoult, with Sarah Waters scheduled for June 5th. The list of forthcoming authors will be listed here - so do keep an eye out for the updated schedule. If you are a reader with a question for either of the authors listed above, you can either wait for the live discussion and join in then, or send your questions to content@waterstones.com.with the author name in the subject line. Every month six titles are selected that focus on a particular issue or theme that kids' can easily relate to. Currently our picture book titles are all about the adventures and misadventures of cats and dogs.

Each chosen title is 50% off for the month that they are featured.

The Book Circle is a brand new bookclub with the Waterstone's Card at its heart. A panel of Cardholders read, review and vote for their favourite paperback fiction title from a new book shortlist, with the winner becoming the Cardholders' Choice of the Month. You'll also find chapter samplers free for you to download.
