Both models feature support for ePub and PDF and let you carry as many as 350 books, from our selection of over 18,000 eBooks, in their 512MB memory. The eInk paper-like display allows for easy and natural reading even in direct sunlight. You'll be able to read for up to two weeks on a single charge and charging the device is as simple as plugging the device into your PC or Mac using the USB cable supplied.

The Touch offers you the most advanced reading experience that Sony can deliver, featuring a touch screen, British dictionary, and the ability to highlight and annotate text, along with a beautiful design that puts the electronic page at the centre of your experience. The Pocket offers a more elegant and simpler experience, coupled with a really handy size, yet is still able to hold as many as 350 books.

Whichever device you choose, you can experience the joy of electronic reading and enjoy the ability to adjust font size and take more books than you could possibly carry with you, wherever you go, in one simple device.

The Pocket edition is designed to be as portable as possible and despite using a smaller 5-inch eInk screen has the same resolution as all previous Sony Reader models making for a remarkably sharp reading experience. The lightest reader released to date, at 220 grams yet with an enlarged memory capable of holding up to 350 books. Software support is supplied for Mac as well as PC.
