Postal strike? Get FREE delivery to your local Waterstone's
If you need to get a book during the current postal strikes and are concerned about Royal Mail deliveries, don't despair! There are over 300 Waterstone's stores for you to choose from, and you can specify FREE delivery to your local store for all your orders.
Follow the simple instructions below, and opt for FREE delivery to your local Waterstone's.

How to specify delivery to your local store:
Step 1:
In the Checkout, click on Edit in the Shipping address/Chosen branch section of the page. Then, under the Collect from your local Waterstone's header, click on "Add address"
Step 2:
Select a region from the drop-down menu, and click "Submit".
Step 3:
From the next drop-down menu, select your local store, and click "Submit".
Step 4:
To confirm your selection, click on the "default shipping" button - marked with a red "X" - see below.
Step 5:
When your selection is confirmed, the default shipping button will then display with a green tick (see below). When confirmed, proceed to checkout.
Find details of your local Waterstone's
You can use our store finder page to locate your nearby stores, and find their contact details and opening hours. The store finder can be found at both the top and bottom of each page, in the top navigation bar, and in the "About Waterstone's" section at the bottom of the page.
Please note: Items delivered to your local Waterstone's are usually received in store within two to five working days from despatch and will then be held at the store for 90 days for you to pick up at your convenience. Sony Readers ordered online can not be delievered to store. Please remember to take your despatch note or order number and a form of ID with you when you go to collect your goods - we require these as a proof of purchase, and without them we cannot release your goods. Delivery to store is only available in Waterstone's UK stores.
