Pricing
All charges are in UK pounds (£).
All overseas orders will be charged in their respective currencies, based on current exchange rates. Payment will only be taken from your card on despatch of your order.
Please be aware that prices displayed in your shopping basket are the current prices of the goods and the amount you will be charged for each item when submitting your order.
All prices on Waterstones.com are for online purchases only and may differ from Waterstone's high street and campus stores.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
You can pay by any American Express, MasterCard or Visa credit card, Switch or Delta debit card. Unfortunately, we cannot currently accept Solo or Electron cards.
Multi-buy offers
Prices exclude postage and packing. Promotions apply to listed titles only, which are subject to change and availability. If you choose to purchase a product from a multi-buy offer, but do not purchase enough products to qualify for the special discount, the product will be charged at the normal price. Please note that on 3 for 2 promotions (and other multi-buy offers), the lowest priced title will always be the 'free' item.
Pre-order price promise
If you pre-order a book and the price either rises or drops before the publication date, you will always pay the lower price when we debit your credit card on despatch of the item. Please note, this only applies up until the publication date and any further price reductions can not be applied retrospectively.
VAT rates
In line with the 2008 changes made by the government, we reduced the RRP of items that are subject to VAT, so their RRP reflects the 15% rate. Please note, books are not subject to VAT, however for items where partial or the full 15% needs to be applied the VAT is included in the selling prices reflected on our website. The Full VAT items include eBooks, DVDs, Games and any other Non-Book products sold on our website. Please also note, for eBooks, this deduction is included in the 20% off promotion.
