We’ve probably all got a favourite book, but our new campaign from Waterstones is asking for something slightly different.
Which book made the biggest impact on your life, and why? Through our The Book That Made Me… campaign, we’ve been asking people all about the influential books and authors in their life, and now Waterstones is reaching out to bloggers with this special competition.
We’ve had some fantastic responses to this campaign already – from bestselling authors, as well as from our customers and booksellers. It has been fascinating to read the many different ways in which books have impacted on people’s lives and ways of thinking. We are now inviting bloggers – many of whom were no doubt inspired to pursue a life of writing by a particular book or author – to share their stories with us.
To enter, simply write a post on your own blog about the book that changed your life. Maybe it shaped your views and opinions; maybe it inspired you to travel the world or maybe it’s the book that made you want to be a writer. Whatever the reason, explain it in a post of 300 words or more on your blog, then leave a link to the post in the comments section below. Your post must also contain a link to Waterstones.
The competition opens on June 7th and closes on July 12th. One winner will be chosen from the entries we receive to win £200 worth of Waterstones book vouchers.
We wish all our entrants the best of luck!
